Our Story
Maddie
(Gretchyn is still in high school, so we're keeping her off the internet for now — but she's the creative genius behind those show-stopping yard signs!)
Birthdays & Bashes started in 2023 as a simple idea: what if every celebration felt a little bit magical?
We're Maddie and Gretchyn — two sisters based out of Kaysville and Morgan, UT. Maddie runs the party-planning side of things: the teepee sleepovers, picnics, movie nights, showers, and every themed detail in between. She's the creative, detail-obsessed one — the kind of person who rearranges her bookshelf by color just because it makes her happy.
Gretchyn brings the custom yard signs to life — the oversized, traffic-stopping, lawn-sized kind that turn a regular morning into a memory. (She also runs a freeze-dried candy business that we'll be weaving into future parties — more on that soon. 🍬)
We took a short break from the business, and honestly, we missed it too much. So we came back — a little older, a lot wiser, and more determined than ever to make this the most magical, personal, and photograph-worthy party experience in Weber, Davis, and Morgan Counties.
Whether it's your daughter's 10th birthday, a surprise picnic for your best friend, or a graduation yard sign that stops traffic, we pour real care into every setup. No two parties are alike. No detail is too small.
